I'm eating the last piece of cherry rhubarb pie which we bought at Vickie's Veggies at Prince Edward County last saturday. It was warm when we bought it and it's been delightful to taste the tart tastiness and remember back to the day. We had lunch at Buddha's Dogs in Picton. One of these places that you'd drive right by if you didn't know it was there. Even when we had explicit instructions complete with landmarks to look for we had trouble finding it. Tiny little hotdogs made with all fresh ingredients from different farms and shops around the county. There's a map on the back wall showing where each of the businesses are and what they supplied. From buns to relishes to salads (made with Vickie's Veggies, don't ya know) everything is local.
