Rochester

Here are some pictures from the TUEM trip to Rochester this past weekend. It was a great trip (busy, of course). I was experimenting with light painting which is when you use a long shutter speeds and then use a flashlight to illuminate certain things in the image. Some images turned out very well. Others were a bit of a disappointment. I'd like to keep experimenting with this technique though.

Great shots John.

...it seems you were also experimenting with bravery down that subway tunnel!

Thanks! :)

As it turned out it was more about experimenting with hypothermia!

You should have gone to the warm spot then. ...although, that's where everyone else must have been when you did that. :)

Ah, but it was all about the light ... hadda be done there. I wish I'd had time to do more experimenting actually ... this isn't quite what I wanted.

Well, I'll say it again - you're awfully brave doing that with 30 people down in that tunnel. :)
