Yummy
Just discovered that they sell double salt licorice at the candy store on the corner. This is the kind of thing that you either love and can't get enough of or you spit out into the tip jar at the check out.

It's a bad, bad thing that we discovered this...

That's one vote.

i have NO idea what you could possibly be insinuating about that revolting spitting into the tip jar remark. that's completely disgusting, and if anyone ever did something like this, i would hope, john, that you would immediately report it to the store.
but apparently, some of my friends hate valentine even more than i do!

My attitude towards valentines day is to just stay out of its way if it stays outta mine. Thankfully easy to do this year. Besides, how can I worry about this fake little holiday when St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

I suspect if I was near anyone who did something like this I would probably just remand the perpetrator into my own custody.

Interesting how one finds out peoples attitude toward Valentine's *after* the day in question.

Its hard to ignore valentine's day if I'm going to spend the entire day talking about it. :)
...30 days until St. Patty's Day. Just so you know.

oh, look 't the cute little irish girl! she's just giddy over st. patty's!! is there a gift-giving tradition attached to this fête?
Posted by: Elise at February 15, 2006 11:23 AM
Only the gift of rounds o' pints! ;)

..St. Patrick's Day. The happiest day of the year!
I've been using green fonts on my blog for the last week or so to get ready, and I have all my irish music at work. Gotta get primed!

Say, isn't Guinness Irish? Why, yes, I believe it is.

My name is Élise, and I am one bad-mannered chick.
I spit the candy in the jar. It was me. I could not stand to have it ni my mouth one more second.
Yesterday evening, on my way home, some dude spit on my coat while I was trying to pass him. One of those dudes who just spit because it's less labour-intensive than swallowing his saliva, I guess. I don't know where these dudes come from. But now they're all over.
Anyway so you see. I paid. I paid big time.

Yick! I hate karma when it's gross. Can't it just waggle its finger at you or give you a stern talking to? Yuck.
I am so addicted to these things. Mmmmm, the salty loveliness. I've been subsisting on just these droppies for three days. Probably time to balance them out with some other food ... I'm woozy.

are you serious? ouch uhh eww! just the thought makes me make faces.
Posted by: Elise at February 16, 2006 02:38 PM
Probably the same faces I made thinking of you getting spit on by some random stranger.
Posted by: John at February 16, 2006 03:08 PM
oh that's so sweeeeet that you would make faces at that. obviously you were taught compassion at a young age.

>> obviously you were taught compassion at a young age.
Either that or to dislike spit.
