Pool

OK, off to the office and then to the final final pool night. I'm ready ... I'm even wearing my lucky pants.

I'm playing hooky from pool tonight (too much to do at home - only night to do it... yadda yadda...).

Looking forward to hearing all about your VICTORY! ;)

Weeeelll ... it was very close until the final round and then, boom, it was all over. We didn't even play the doubles because it wasn impossible for us to win. But, it was fun!

Thanks for the good luck. ;)

So much for the lucky pants, eh? ;)

Does this mean you're in 2nd place then?

Either way, good job - congrats!

Second place! Teammate Russell thinks it's because we had just the right mix of handicaps and ability.

Jason was saying they're going to change the formula they use for calculating the handicaps in the next session. (Both he and Jay are also going to play.)

2nd place! Awesome!

good! ...no way I'm a 5! FIVE! good grief!

Well, I don't think I should be a 7 either. I think in the new way of calculating we'll probably end up having the same handicap.

Posted by: John at February 1, 2006 11:56 AM

then what's the point of having a new way?

Posted by: kerry at February 1, 2006 01:32 PM

There were too many 8's using the old system. Plus, too often the handicap wasn't reflecting the players real ability.

Don't you think we're about the same level?
