it's cause of the dog, i know this place. they have a dog and he gets stressed when people tap.

Yeah, they should get an other BIGGER dog to scare away the jerky window tappers!
Poor puppy!
...although the irony is that the reason people are likely tapping on the glass is to say Hi to the dog.

and that is exactly right, Miss Kerry (wait!... Kerry BRADSHAW? THE Kerry Bradshaw??).
It's a big dog and he spends his time in the window display, so the tapping is right in his vicinity.
