Heat update
What I was worried would happen has happened. Now that my radiators are working, it's too hot in here. It's currently at 25 degrees. The plumber showed me where the tap on the radiator is so I have been experimenting with adjusting the heat. This is reminding me of the overwhelming heat in the basement suite where I used to live. At least the radiator is nice and quiet, unlike the furnace there.

Better to be a little cool then too hot! Its too hot in my place too, and with the windows open its too cold. I think sometimes we just can't win. ...although you might check with your super to make sure that your rads are working properly...

well, leave the door open at night. the door of your imagination, that is. one is bound to show up there.

Well, if I'm opening that door anyway I might as well wait for a whole harem to come on through...

... "wait" being the operative term here.
but, you know. at your discretion.
