Christmas in BC

It's cloudy and rainy and windy here. I'm installed at my dad's place. I spent an hour last night hooking up my wireless networking access point so I could feel at home. So far today my dad and his wife have been out doing errands and I've been mostly dozing on the couch. I'm feeling so listless it's unreal. I think the problem is that they drink decaffeinated coffee here. OK, I'm going to head out and find some real coffee...

I hear that there's an intersection downtown that has a Starbucks on each corner, so it shouldn't be too hard.

I know of an intersection on Robson St that has one on two corners ... I didn't know there was an intersection with one on each corner!

well see? already you've got yourself a purpose for your time there: finding the 4-corner Starbucks junction.

when you do, i suggest you stand in the center of that intersection and try spinning around like a dreidel to create the illusion of a continuous green banner. it should feel like nothing short of a Christmas miracle!

I think that's a great idea! Singing: 'dreidel dreidel dreidel, I made you out of clay...' da da da da...

I can make some inquiries for you on the location if you like.

hi hi hi!...

I'll try to at least make a pilgrammage downtown to that corner where I know there are two of them. This is a big commitment as my dad lives almost as far away from that intersection as you can be and still be in the lower mainland.

I like the spinning in a circle thing although it makes me think more of Mary Tyler Moore than anything and I'm pretty sure I'd get dizzy and fall down.

I think if you toss a hat in the air the dizziness is lessened... uh... maybe...

>> hi hi hi!...

Are you really high so early in the morning?? Well, I guess it is Christmas.
