Cut loose
So apparently I was cut loose because I'm not Jewish. Which is surprising since I'm not any less (or more) Jewish now than when we met 3 months ago. I was exactly 0% Jewish then and still very close to that percentage now. Therefore, I suspect the real reason lies elsewhere. The problem is narrowing down the list of my quirks and issues to what exactly caused the breakup. I really think women should be required to fill out a form detailing the why they're cutting us off. How are we mere men supposed to learn and improve if we don't get some detailed feedback?
Of course, it's just as likely that the reason lies not in my ponderous list of issues but in hers. She seemed like a pretty together, caring person to me which might very well mean a truly long - and well hidden - list .
So, the long and short of it is I'm not exactly sure what happened, but i do know for a certainty it had nothing to do with my not being Jewish. Which, unfortunately, leaves everything else.
As a footnote: I'm writing this at a Chinese restaurant down the street. When i broke open my fortune cookie it was missing the fortune . I don't think this bodes well at all...
